SQUARE ENIX has released a free demo for DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined, a remake of the 2000 game DRAGON QUEST VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. Players can enjoy several hours of content from the beginning of the game, with save data carrying over to the full game when it launches on Feb. 5, 2026. The demo offers a glimpse into the reimagined 3D art style and enhanced narrative depth of the game. Pre-ordering any edition grants a unique DRAGON QUEST VIII costume and three Seeds of Proficiency.
