A Freediver Held His Breath For Almost Half an Hour—and Obliterated a World Record
Croatian freediver Vitomir Maričić broke the world record for the longest human breath hold, achieving an astonishing 29 minutes and 3 seconds. This oxygen-assisted record surpasses the previous record by almost five minutes. Despite this achievement, it still falls short of the breath-holding abilities of many marine mammals.
Broke the world record by nearly five minutes, that’s pretty damn impressive.
