NASA’s Artemis II mission is preparing for the rollout of the SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft to Launch Pad 39B at Kennedy Space Center. The rollout, scheduled for no earlier than 7 a.m. EST on Saturday, Jan. 17, will be preceded by a mission overview news conference on Jan. 16. The Artemis II crew, including NASA and CSA astronauts, will participate in a media event following the rollout. The rollout marks a significant step towards the Artemis II mission, with final preparations and assessments to follow before the launch window opens as early as Feb. 6.
