Kansas Satanic Grotto files complaint about abortion rally permit approval, plans counterprotest • Kansas Reflector

The Kansas Satanic Grotto has filed a complaint against the Kansas Department of Administration for approving a permit for the Christian group Abortion is Murder to protest inside the Statehouse. The Grotto plans to counterprotest on January 27, arguing that the state is applying different standards of obscenity and violence to the two groups. The Grotto's permit application is still pending.

I was never pushed into religion as a child, but living in the southeast U.S. and seeing how judgmental and hypocritical “Christians” were made me want to be the antithesis of everything they were. I eventually started telling people I was a Satanist just to be their opposite
