Super Micro Computer launches tech campus project at former Fry’s site in San Jose
Super Micro Computer has started building a big tech campus near a former Fry's Electronics store in San Jose. The company bought the site for $80 million in 2024 and plans to develop a campus that could be as large as 3 million square feet. The first building will be 333,400 square feet and will be used to store and assemble computer parts. The project is expected to create jobs, with about 50 employees working on-site at any given time.
