National Guard using LRAD in Minneapolis? Deployment after Alex Pretti shooting sparks buzz | Hindustan Times
LRAD is 160db cone of sound. ICE agents, protestors, whatever, it makes you dizzy and nauseous and can cause permanent hearing loss.
Thus, if there is a group that won't disperse...they will. Could be Minnesotans. Could be ICE agents. I guess we'll see who's complaint and who isn't, won't we?
Following the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti by Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis, the National Guard was deployed to assist local law enforcement. Mayor Jacob Frey requested their presence due to stretched police resources caused by federal immigration agents. Videos circulated on social media claimed that the National Guard was using a Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD) for crowd control, though this has not been officially confirmed. The Guard members will wear neon reflective vests and remain in close contact with Minneapolis Police Department officers.
