You can now pay $1M to reserve a hotel stay on the moon
California startup GRU Space is pioneering lunar tourism by offering the first opportunity to reserve a hotel stay on the moon, with deposits ranging from $250K to $1M. Their plan includes testing inflatable structures in 2031 and constructing lunar hotels by 2032, capable of housing up to four people for multi-day stays. These hotels will offer views of the lunar landscape and Earth, along with activities such as moonwalks, driving, and golfing. GRU Space aims to solve off-world habitation, paving the way for human expansion to Mars and beyond.
