If free will exists, why does your "For You" page know you better than you know yourself?

Understanding the prior causes that make you, you, might be easier for an algorithm to understand and predict than your own mind. The “For You” reference is somewhat tongue in cheek, but thought provoking nonetheless. We already know certain brain scans can predict your thoughts/decisions milliseconds before you’re consciously aware of them—where’s the free will in that?
