Historic road Vindhellavegen
This road was constructed in 1843, and once upon a time it was part of the main road between Oslo and Bergen. While it's a beauty to look at, it was too steep for horses to navigate with any meaningful load, so it's been out of use for a long time. It's still there, though, ready to receive hikers.
It's very close to the Borgund stave church, so make sure you do the short walk to admire it from there if you're ever nearby.
