His wife, Latifa, confirmed his death due to a seizure and pneumonia, expressing gratitude for his fans and colleagues. Cliff, born James Chambers, began his career in Kingston and starred in the iconic film 'The Harder They Come'. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, he released 17 studio albums over nearly six decades, with his final album, 'Refugees', in 2022.
