An Inbox You Have But Don't Need
Reducing inboxes in our lives buys us time and helps eliminate some of the distractions we're bombarded with. If anything, it lowers the cost of switching our attentions.
One inbox that many don't need is voicemail. When purchasing a new phone, don't setup voicemail. People will have to use other ways to reach out. Email and text messages are better for search-ability and archival purposes anyway.
One less inbox in life may not be a big difference, but several small improvements will eventually have meaningful impact both on time and attention. It's a small but quick win!
