Life Hack: The "One Touch" Rule

When you pick something up, put it where it actually goes. Not on the counter "for now," not on the stairs to take up later. Just put it away. Sounds obvious but most clutter comes from setting things down temporarily and then never dealing with them. One touch, done, move on.
