My complete humanized content workflow: From idea to published (including where AI fits)
As per the note - People always ask about my process, so here it is:
Phase 1: Research (30 min)
Manual research, no AI here
Note actual interesting things I find
Write down MY reaction to what I learn
Phase 2: Outline (10 min)
Structure the piece myself
Decide on angle/hook
Phase 3: First Draft (20 min)
Use AI to expand my outline
Give it my notes and angle
Accept that this draft will sound robotic
Phase 4: Humanizing (40 min)
This is where I actually "write"
Rewrite intros and conclusions completely
Add personal examples
Fix rhythm and flow
Remove AI-isms
Phase 5: Polish (10 min)
Run through humanizer tool for edge cases
Final read-aloud
Publish
Total: ~2 hours for 1500 words Without AI: 4-5 hours minimum
The AI saves time on the grunt work. The human work is what makes it readable.
What's your workflow look like?
