This Community's Ownership

Hey all! There have been discussions about this community's ownership, and there's been a lot of misinformation, so I wanted to make a post to set the record straight.

I started this community because I was a big Digg user back in the day. I got the new Digg app when it first came out and have been enjoying seeing the community come back to life. I'm also an avid Home Assistant user, so, like everyone else, I have a lot of respect for the Home Assistant community and team.

I will commit right now to saying if the Open Home Foundation wants to co-own or moderate with me, I will accept them.

My commitment to the Home Assistant community is:

• Build an amazing community of amazing people who love and use Home Assistant.

• Build a safe, respectful community where people feel safe to express their ideas and opinions.

• Build an open community where people can freely discuss, criticize, and share any information they want, as long as it follows the guidelines.

I'm 100% happy to have any discussion users are interested in, and I'm even open to criticism, as long as we do it respectfully. Please enjoy the community!
