Officials Report Outbreak of Deadly Nipah Virus, Which Has No Cure

Officials in India have confirmed an outbreak of the deadly Nipah virus, which has no cure. Two nurses at a private hospital near Kolkata, West Bengal, were infected with the virus, and one is in a coma. Health officials are implementing quarantine and surveillance measures, and 180 people have been tested for Nipah, with all tests coming back negative so far.
