Deke Dickerson's books The Strat In The Attic (and sequel)

I read the Strat In The Attic book (there's apparently a Volume 2) recently and MY GOD it's fantastic. It's the story of how he (a vintage country/jazz/rockabilly guitar god) spent a ton of time chasing down rumors of old guitars, figured out the provenance of various guitars, and spent a lot of time with various old guitar players and their descendants. He's been involved in saving quite a few interesting instruments over the decades.
