Unreal Tournament 99 has been ported to the browser
Unreal Tournament 99, a classic multiplayer shooter released in 1999, has been successfully brought to the browser with multiplayer support, thanks to the efforts of a team led by Nikita Aksenov. Initially, a web version was released in 2017 by Ryan C. Gordon, but it lacked networking support and crashed frequently. After overcoming numerous technical challenges, including reverse-engineering the binary and replacing the networking layer, the team managed to launch a fully functional multiplayer version of UT99 in the browser, available for play starting at 17:00.
Brings me back to the Dreamcast days! One of my all time faves.
