First case of Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold screen damage appears - SamMobile
Samsung's first tri-folding smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, has sold out quickly in South Korea since its launch. However, the first case of screen damage has been reported by a user, who claims the damage occurred without any physical impact. The user reported a white line near the left-side hinge of the foldable OLED panel, causing the leftmost section of the display to turn on and off intermittently. Samsung is currently offering a 50% discount on screen repair costs, which amounts to KRW 1,300,000 ($800). Given the high price and the novelty of the product, some suggest Samsung should implement a no-questions-asked screen replacement policy for early adopters.
