I accidentally joined the wrong Zoom meeting… for 12 minutes

Logged into Zoom two days ago, thinking it was my client meeting. Felt confident, had my coffee, notebook ready.

For a solid 12 minutes, I nodded at every point, typed notes like a pro, and even said “Absolutely” a few times. I was crushing it… or so I thought.

Then someone said,

“Wait… who’s this guy?”

Cue awkward silence. My confidence evaporated. I looked around at 20 strangers staring at me.

Turns out I was in a dog training seminar. Not my client meeting. Not even remotely related to my work.

But here’s the thing—I stayed. I asked questions, took notes, even learned how to get a Golden Retriever to “fetch a spreadsheet.”

So yeah… I spent 12 minutes looking professional in the wrong Zoom meeting. But now I’m basically a certified dog consultant.
