Brazilian club Flamengo has made a £35.8m bid for West Ham midfielder Lucas Paquetá, with negotiations ongoing. West Ham may only sell Paquetá if he returns on loan for the rest of the season. The 28-year-old Brazilian is keen to return to Brazil and Flamengo want him in their side as soon as possible. West Ham, who are in 18th place in the Premier League, feel Paquetá should help them in their bid to stay up. However, some within West Ham think the best solution would be to grant Paquetá his wish to go home.
