SlipBack-PushForward
Time travel stories usually focus on machines. Buttons, dials, flashing lights, a DeLorean doing 88. But what if the real engine wasn’t metal, but human?
That question sits at the center of my novel Slip Back — Push Forward.
The story follows Ava, a young woman whose DNA lets her move through time using resonance instead of technology. No portals. No gears. Just frequency, emotion, and intention. When she slips, she doesn’t just observe history. She feelsit. And more strangely, history feels her back.
Here’s the twist. Ava’s ability isn’t just movement. She transmits emotion through touch. Compassion becomes physics. Kindness leaves a footprint. Imagine walking into 1776 and having the room soften because you arrived.
