Senate panel advances bill establishing task force to propose e-bike regulations

Florida Senate Transportation Committee unanimously approved a bill (SB 382) to establish an electric bicycle task force to propose e-bike regulations. The task force will study e-bike accidents, provide recommendations on enforcement, and submit a report to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
