Welcome!

Hello everyone, I'm super excited to be hosting this community and to engage in some fun discussions about dog training!

I am not a professional dog trainer (I don't hold paper certificates), however I have been working with dogs my whole life. I've studied methods of Karen Pryor, @Kikopup, @ZakGeorge, and others. Dogs are my main passion in life and dog training brings me a lot of joy!

I currently have two doggos, a female Golden Retriever named Indy (10 1/2), and a male Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Ollivander (7), we call him Ollie. Indy is the second dog I have trained to be a therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. She currently enjoys visiting with college students at a local University in a program called Paws and Relax. Ollie unfortunately didn't make the cut because he's much more interested in playing ball than anything else.
