[BUG] "Photo library access" broken by digg v1.5.5 (Android)
I was going to share a couple bugs that I recently found on digg, but I can't seem to at the moment, as the application is not allowing any kind of media access. The latest version is not reading the "files and media" permission correctly.
The exact error message thrown up by digg is
Enable photo library access
You will need to enable access to your photo library in Settings > Digg.
In the version before this, I was able to upload media, but in the current one, it keeps saying that I haven't given an access, when I have. I also believe this could possibly be responsible for a "share to" onboarding bug, but I guess I will save that until this gets fixed and then try again. I was going to post a video of one bug and a screenshot of another bug, but right now I can't seem to insert anything on the mobile app currently.
In additional, digg only requests "acess to media only". You could additionally request access to everything, as in "allow management of all files". This would let you break free of gallery based apps or common designated folders like DCIM, pictures, screenshots, and instead gain file manager like access to anything on the device. But right now the digg app is not coded for fuller access.
