Can the community know when there are going to be changes to community limits (or other major apects of the site) beforehand?

One of the biggest gut-punches was missing out on a community due to the nature of the feature spontaneously going live, and the 2-community limit, something that absolutely makes sense, but also makes things all the more difficult since we're having to pick and choose around communities we'd like to found/manage.

Would it be possible for the admins to be a bit more proactive in alerting users when changes are going to be made BEFORE they're made? Since we're currently looking at the 2-community limit, it would be really nice to know beforehand if that limit is going to be increased, because we're having to submit requests for community deletion, just to make room for or prioritize other communities we think we could better serve. As an aside, given that the communities feature has been live for over a week at this point, could that limit be bumped up ever so slightly to 3 or 4?
