digg daily rewind button doesn't work early on

Two nits:

When I click back/rewind button in digg daily player at 6s, it doesn't restart the audio from the beginning.

When I click back after the audio button's back button does become functional, it doesn't play the intro noise/music, instead it starts immediately with the spoken audio "Today on digg daily..."
