initial concept sketch

Very rough - just the idea. Was doodling and remembered a logo I’d made for my sister and her husband prior to their wedding years ago (C + D made into ring/circle) and wondered if any of my other siblings would like something like this.

A J + T + 5 (five kids, all grown). Will have to find some time to flesh this out, and share it with them if I like the way it turns out.

I think the arcs of the J and 5 could work really well together.

Anyone else sometimes find it hard to communicate the “essence” you see present in the sketch into the final design?

There’s just something about hand drawn, sometimes.
