GTA residents urged to 'stay home' during storm, as snow accumulation could reach 60 cm | CBC News
Heavy snowfall in the Greater Toronto Area has caused significant disruptions to transit, flights, and municipal services. Environment Canada issued a severe orange weather warning, predicting snow accumulation could reach 60 centimetres. The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has suspended service at 48 bus stops, and Pearson International Airport has cancelled about 65% of its departing flights and 64% of arriving flights. The City of Toronto has declared a significant weather event and activated its major snow event response plan. All English GTA school boards and the French public Viamonde School Board have declared Monday a snow day.
If Toronto needs to call in the army to help with snow removal, does that make the armed forces ICE agents?
