Young motorbike rider dies after crash with Toyota Hilux on remote road
A young motorbike rider died after a collision with a Toyota Hilux on a remote road in the NSW Hunter region. The 21-year-old rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 48-year-old Hilux driver was uninjured and taken for mandatory testing. Police have established a coronial scene and are investigating the incident.
The two vehicles collided along Putty Road in Howes Valley, about 50km south-west of Singleton, about 10.35am today.
