A BIG hole in the iOS Home Screen needs to be fixed...

And it's a literal, visible hole. It's not quite as pronounced if you use normal sized icons, but when you use large icons like I do, it is glaring. The enormous gutter between the Dock and the page above is... enormous, and I dislike it. An entire row of icons could easily fit there, but that's not an option Apple feels the need to offer. It's even more annoying because I use a single page layout, so there is no page indicator, which I've always found to be rather superfluous.

In a sense, I am nitpicking. However, I submit that, for a company that is lauded for their tight, efficient UI design, this element has been neglected.
