The European Commission has launched an investigation into Elon Musk's X over concerns its AI tool Grok was used to create sexualised images of real people. The Commission will assess whether 'manipulated sexually explicit images' have been shown to users in the EU. If X is found to have breached the rules of EU's Digital Services Act, the Commission could fine the company up to 6% of its global annual turnover.

Retailers including Walmart and Target can now decline your credit card — key details revealed - Market Realist

A recent settlement between Visa, Mastercard, and several US merchants, including Walmart and Target, allows these retailers to decline credit cards they deem unfit for their business model. The settlement, which has been in the works for 20 years, resolves a lawsuit filed by merchants against credit card companies for anticompetitive behavior. This means consumers may need to apply for new cards if their preferred retailer refuses to accept their current one. The settlement also includes a reduction in interchange fees by 0.1% over the next five years.
