My current Big Project

I’ve been working on this off-and-on for over 4 years. It’s taken so long because at first I had a cranky Ender 3 Pro. Then got an X1C and parts looked so great that I reprinted all the things.

Then moved in with gf. It’s a gift for her so I can only work on “secretly.” She knows I’m building something, but she doesn’t know what it is. I’ll go in the garage to work on him and she knows the “No Gurlz Aloud” sign means business. heh.

Anyway, I present Project Elrond. He’s the Michael Baddeley R2-D2. I’ve a ways to go and the power/electronics are the most challenging because I’m pretty clueless and a lot nervous.
